Reflection: Making things happen!

How do we ensure that there is accountability in
what we are tasked
to do? 

Unless careful attention is spent on    delegation,

feedback and follow up,
it will be impossible to move forward within a given time to fulfill whatever directives we are working to achieve.

So, for new teams especially, we must ensure that the entire team is aware of, first of all, what is to be done and work through the particulars for each team member with the team leader holding each accountable.

October 2018

A project developed as an offer under Catalyst Consulting,  my leadership development consultancy. This project was launched on Feb. 27, 2016. Mentoring sessions began in the first week of March 2016. The project was closed on April 30, 2017. The final reflection was held on May 7, 2017.

I will share snippets of the journey with 10 mentor-mentee pairs. Transformation stories really blew my mind, although I was journeying with these women, I was so surprised to hear of achievements that we could not








Mentor Veda Tappin


Did you make greats plans to work with a younger person but in spite of your best efforts things fell apart? Veda Tappin explains, “I like the way the program is structured. I think Sheneeza really benefitted from the weekly At His Feet Studies. I am so glad that she was able to focus on her CXCs. While it was difficult keeping focused especially when my mentee found a job that was also a part of her goal, we found ways to persevere. Sheneeza loved the journaling and kept a thorough account of the process. What a blessing it was to be held accountable throughout the one year.” PDG is for you!
